6. Select the dispensers that you have replaced and press OK to confirm.
7. Reset operating time counter item.
8. Menu/Operation Select /Maintenance/Bottle change mode/Bottle insertion/
Bottle selection item.
9. Select all the bottles and press OK to confirm.
10. Confirm bottles inserted item.
11. The system must be calibrated after a replacement routine. Menu/Operation/
Manual operation/Determine calibration factor item.
12. After the calibration go back to MODE/Continue automatic mode or MODE/Start
automatic mode.
13.7 Replacing the magnetic stir bar
1. Remove the cover in front of the cuvette assembly.
2. Lift the rubber cover off the cuvette. There must be no kinks in the capillaries at the
capillary holder or at the valves, and the capillaries must not be removed from the
hose connector.
3. Insert the maintenance dispenser together with the hose piece provided through the
hole in the capillary holder of the cuvette.
4. Empty the cuvette completely.
5. Remove the magnetic stir bar from the measuring chamber.
6. Place the magnetic stir bar in the measuring chamber, making sure that it is flat.
7. Place the rubber cover back on the cuvette, and ensure that all capillaries are in the
measuring chamber.

Before you release any hoses, make sure that no actions, such as the pumping of
sample, are currently running or are due to start shortly.
‣
Wear protective clothing, goggles and gloves or take other suitable measures to protect
yourself.
‣
Wipe up any spilt reagent with a disposable tissue and rinse with clear water. Then dry
the cleaned areas with a cloth.
If the analyzer has not been in operation for more than two days, it must be
decommissioned to avoid any damage to the device.
To decommission, proceed as follows:
1. Prepare for commissioning → 135
2. Rinse the system→ 136
3. Empty the sample channels → 136, → 137
4. Empty the cuvette → 137
