Repair and conversion concept
The Endress+Hauser repair and conversion concept provides for the following:
The measuring devices have a modular design.
Spare parts are grouped into logical kits with the associated Installation Instructions.
Repairs are carried out by Endress+Hauser Service or by correspondingly trained customers.
Certified devices can be converted into other certified devices by Endress+Hauser Service or at
the factory only.
Notes for repair and conversion
For repair and modification of a measuring device, observe the following notes:
Use only original Endress+Hauser spare parts.
Carry out the repair according to the Installation Instructions.
Observe the applicable standards, federal/national regulations, Ex documentation (XA) and
certificates.
Document every repair and each conversion and enter them into the W@M life cycle management
database.
13.2 Spare parts
A few interchangeable measuring device components are identified by a spare part nameplate.
This contains information about the spare part.
The connection compartment cover of the device contains a spare part nameplate that includes
the following information:
A list of the most important spare parts for the measuring device, including their ordering
information.
The URL for the W@M Device Viewer (www.endress.com/deviceviewer):
There, all spare parts for the measuring device are listed, including the order code, and can be
ordered. If available, the corresponding Installation Instructions can also be downloaded there.
