** Recovery is the volume (in gallons) that can be heated in one hour from inial water temperature on the cold line to
the temperature rise specied by the manufacturer. Enertech uses a 60
O
F temperature rise.
*** Storage required to compare to the EAV, using am electric water heater with two interlocked 4,500 Wa elements or
a gas water heater with 40,000 Btuh input.
Capacies shown are at 47°F Outdoor Air Temp (OAT). At colder temperatures, capacies are lower. For example, at 10°F, the
capacity is approximately 1/2 of the capacity at 47°F. A backup water heater is recommended.
