A power block is provided for incoming power to the EME/EMD.
This circuit supplies power to all of the controls, internal pump,
and immersion heater (if equipped).
 Reference the electrical data for circuit sizing.

Due to the extensive use of digital controls within the EME/EMD,
Enertech recommends the use of Type 1 or Type 2 surge
protecve devices (SPD). The system may be protected as part
of a whole house surge protector or the branch circuit can be
protected using an SPD such as the Compressor Defender
. Please check the NEC Arcle 285 and
your local codes regarding the use of SPDs.

The EME/EMD eld wiring provides dry contact inputs to
interface directly with industry standard zone controllers and
aquastats. These are indicated with the following input pairs:
: Radiant heang demand input
: Air handler heang demand input (120°F outlet
temperature)
 Air handler cooling demand input (low temperature water)
 Domesc hot water thermistor (connect to thermistor
that is pre-installed in Turbomax tank)
 These Terminals are Not Used, The outdoor
sensor is located in the Outdoor Unit, BT28 Sensor.











