Use these terminals
to enable system
pump (see piping
diagrams).*
*These contacts will close with a call from
any thermostat. For constant speed pump,
use these contacts to power the pump
when there is a htg/clg call (break the “L
terminal for a 115V pump). For variable
speed pump, use these contacts to enable
the pump (typically a contact closure will
tell” the pump to start modulating).

CAUTION
TRANSFORMER MUST BE
REMOVED FROM EACH
FAN COIL TO AVOID PHASING
ISSUES BETWEEN FAN COILS
AND THE ZONE PANEL.
NOTES:
1. Zone 1 must use a heat pump thermostat, even if the fan coil does not have
heat pump terminals (Enertech fan coils have heat pump style wiring).
2. RC supplies 24VAC the the thermostat in cooling mode; RH supplies 24VAC
to the thermostat in heating mode (based upon the mode of zone 1). In
most cases, RH and RC will be jumpered for fan coils to allow heating and
cooling.
3. If RC and RH are jumpered in zone 2, zone 3 will also be a htg/clg zone; if
RC and RH are jumpered in zone 4, zones 5 and 6 will also be htg/clg zones.
In this example, the radiant zones should be used on zones 4, 5, and 6, since
zones 1, 2, and 3 are heating and cooling zones. Adding a radiant zone to
zone 3 would allow water ow through the oor in cooling, which would not
typically be a good idea in most climates.
4. The tank controller only needs one buer tank thermistor (terminals HT, HT)
for a single tank. The CT, CT terminals are not used with this application.
CAUTION
TRANSFORMER IN THE ZONE
PANEL WILL NEED TO BE UP-
SIZED FOR THIS APPLICATION
(SEE GEO-FLO INSTALLATION
MANUAL FOR CALCULATIONS).

NOTICE
THE EM UNIT TERMINALS ARE
POLARITY SENSITIVE. TERMINALS
7 AND 9 ARE COMMON. ENSURE
THAT 8 AND 10 ARE CONNECTED
TO RELAY 1 AND THAT TERMINAL
9 IS CONNECTED TO RELAY 2.
