Setting is only displayed in the following cases.
The current signal is interlaced signal (480i/576i/1080i).
Image Preset Mode is enabled.
Noise Reduction
s Image > Image Enhancement > Noise Reduction
You can reduce flickering in images when inputting progressive signals or
progressive interlace signals.
a
You cannot select this setting in the following cases.
4K Enhancement is enabled.
A signal with a resolution that exceeds WUXGA is input.
Image Preset Mode is set to Off.
MPEG Noise Reduction
s Image > Image Enhancement > MPEG Noise Reduction
You can reduce the noise or artifacts seen in MPEG video.

You cannot select this setting in the following cases.
4K Enhancement is enabled.
A signal with a resolution that exceeds WUXGA is input.
Image Preset Mode is set to Off.
Super-resolution
s Image > Image Enhancement > Super-resolution
You can reduce blurring when projecting low resolution images.
Fine Line Adjust
Higher values enhance details such as hair or fabric patterns.
Soft Focus Detail
Higher values enhance the outline, background, and the other main parts
of the objects in the image to show them clearly.

You cannot select this setting when the Image Preset Mode setting is
set to Off.
Detail Enhancement
s Image > Image Enhancement > Detail Enhancement
You can create a more emphatic texture and material feel of the image.
Strength
Higher values enhance the contrast.
Range
Higher values widen the range of detailed enhancement.

Depending on the image, a highlight may be noticeable at the border
between colors. If this bothers you, set a smaller value.
You cannot select this setting when the Image Preset Mode setting is
set to Off.
Reset (Image Enhancement)
s Image > Image Enhancement > Reset
