The 5700MSC-IP unit can lock in frequency and phase to the high-accuracy timing provided by the
GNSS satellites. The main oscillator frequency is locked to the 1 pulse per second (PPS) timing pulse
provided by the receiver. Because of the low rate of this timing pulse, only the high-stability OCXO
oscillator can be used and the Genlock Range control will be forced to Narrow regardless of the menu
setting.
