Printing ribbon and retransfer film

The printing ribbon and/or retransfer film is not correctly fitted
l
Re-install the printing ribbon and/or retransfer film ( "Printing ribbon and retransfer film" on page17 )
l
Make sure there are no wrinkles on the surface of the printing ribbon and/or retransfer film
Print head
l
The print head may be clogged
l
Launch a regular cleaning cycle ( "Regular cleaning" on page41 )
l
The print head may be damaged
l
Contact your reseller for assistance
Retransfer film not correctly applied
Retransfer settings
l
Retransfer settings are not optimum.
l
Go to Evolis Premium Suite 2 > Printer settings > Retransfer to adjust the temperature and speed settings.
l
Make sure the temperature and speed settings correspond to the requirement of the selected card type.
