Renishaw TP-20 Probe Installation and Operation
The FaroArm supports the Renishaw TP-20 touch-trigger probe. The
Renishaw TP-20 touch-trigger probe automatically digitizes a point by
touching the stylus to the part.

OTE: The Renishaw TP-2 Probe is not supported.
Quantum Series
The Quantum series FaroArm uses the FARO i-Probe adapter to connect
the TP-20 probe module to the FaroArm handle. Simply attach this
assembly just as you would any other probe. See “Installing Probes” on
page 21.
Quantum Series TP-20 Probe Kit
The Quantum Series TP-20 Probe kit contains:
• FaroArm i-Probe adapter
• A magnetized TP-20 probe body
• Medium Force Probe Module
• Renishaw (S1) C Spanner wrench
• Renishaw (S7) stylus tool
• Renishaw (CK200) cleaning kit
• Renishaw Probe tip: 2mm (M2 D2R L10)
• Renishaw Probe tip: 6mm (M2 D6R L10)
• FaroArm i-Probe adapter

OTE: The product numbers in the parentheses are Renishaw part
numbers. See the Renishaw User’s Manual for more details.
Platinum/Fusion Series
The Renishaw port is an optional feature for the Platinum and Fusion
FaroArms. If your FaroArm does not have this optional port, contact
your Customer Service Representative by Phone, Fax or E-Mail. See
“Technical Support” on page 93.
Platinum/Fusion Series TP-20 Probe Kit
The Platinum/Fusion Series TP-20 Probe kit contains:
• Renishaw (S1) C Spanner wrench
• Renishaw (S9) double-ended C Spanner wrench
• Two Renishaw (S7) stylus tools
