Probe Calibration
Place the calibration cone approximately 2/3 of the
FaroArm's reach away from its base.
Perform the probe calibration at least 3 times. For
more information, see “Single Hole Method” on
page 83.
Look in the probe calibration log and compare the
X, Y and Z values. Each value should repeat to
within the accuracy of the device.

OTE: If one person is able to repeat better than another person,
review probe calibration procedure. A “green light” does not
guarantee a good probe calibration. It simply indicates that the data
collected was within specification.
