3.6 Connecting an operator unit CDPX
The operator unit CDPX is a display for executing and monitoring automation tasks at the field level.
• Refer to the accompanying user documentation when installing the device.

• Connect the CDPX to the CPX-CEC-...-V3 directly via the Ethernet interface or indirectly via a
switch/hub.
• Make sure that the settings for the subnet mask are the same on both devices (e.g. 255.255.0.0).
