Please note
Check within the framework of your EMERGENCY STOP
circuit, to ascertain the measures necessary for putting
your machine/system into a safe state in the event of an
EMERGENCY STOP (e.g. switching off the operating volt-
age, switching off the compressed air).
Seal open cable ends, e.g. with cable cap type ASI-KK-FK from
Festo. In this way you will avoid leakage currents and comply
wi th protection class IP65.
Please note with branch lines:
– The total maximum length of the AS-Interface bus:
100 m incl. branch lines (without repeater/extender).
– The length of the cable for the operating voltage connection:
depends on the current consumption and the fluctuations
in the operating voltage.
Pin assignment of the bus c onnection and the oper-
ating voltage connection
The following are supplied with + 24 V DC via the operating
voltage connection marked with “24 V DC”:
– the operating voltage for the internal electronics of the
SPC11.
– the load voltage for the connected proportional direc-
tional control valve type MPYE-... and the measuring
system.
