The thermo-switch at the cylinder head serves to monitor the
generator temperature.

This thermo switch is located at the water-cooled exhaust
elbow union and serves to monitor the temperature of the
fresh water cooling system. It takes a measurement at the
hottest spot, since the combustion gases are guided from the
cylinder head for the exhaust elbow.

Two thermo switches are located inside the winding to
protect the generator coil, which for safety reasonsare
installed independently in parallel.
