Assembling the steering column
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Press t ee nuts into parts 15 & 18
Note the orientation of part 15.
Note the orientation of part 18.
2. Using a hammer, tap the t ee nut until the top is ush with
the wooden part.
3. Using a mallet, tap parts 15 , 16, 17, & 18 into the
corresponding slots on part 13.
Note the location and orientation of each part.
4. Align part 14 to the assembly so that the part mirrors
part 13 exactly.
5. Using a mallet, tap part 14 into the tab connections.
6. Secure the parts using screws on each part.
‒ Use 1 screw per part, per side.
‒ Total of 4 locations, 4 screws.
7. Secure the parts on the opposite side, turn the assembly
on its side, and then screw in each part.
‒ Use 1 screw per part, per side.
‒ Total of 4 locations, 4 screws.
