To run the detailed test, tap

Note
To run this test, the instrument must unlink
from the network. Current test results are
discarded.
If you want to trace the cable to a switch, hub, or
patch panel, tap
to set up and run a
Cable Toner test.
Note
This test requires a companion probe device
for locating and tracing cable.
To test signal power and loss on a fiber optic cable,
select the Fiber option. Then, set up and run a Fiber
Optic Meter (FOM) test.
Note
This test requires a (separately purchased)
Fiber Optic Test Kit Accessory.
You will need to use the supplied universal
adapter to perform a wiremap (test a patch
cable).
