Lining wear inspection may also be
performed visually from the inspection
holes on the brake dust plate.
If the thickness of the lining remaining
on the brake pad is less than 8mm, we
recommend that you shall have your
lining replaced in a Ford Trucks authorized
service immediately.
CAUTION
Even if one of the mutual linings is worn,
replace both linings.
CAUTION
Install the plugs again a er lining
inspection. Otherwise, dust and dirt
ingress between the lining and drum
may cause premature lining wear and
damage to the drum.
