OPERATION

CAUTION
Manoeuvre modes shall only be
used for coasting, and only as it is
required.
CAUTION
The duration of manoeuvre modes is
limited by the transmission control unit.
Maneuver mode (DM and RM) puts
a strain on the clutch lining when it is
used for a long time, then
warning
is displayed on the display; shi the
transmission to neutral and wait for a
while.
Transmission is faulty. Stop
the vehicle and contact a Ford Trucks
authorized dealership.
Manual Use:
Take-o gear is automatically
determined.
Clutch movement and gear shi ing
operation are automatic when the gear
is shi ed manually via the shi lever.
False gear shi ing is not possible.
Manoeuvre operation is available in
automatic mode only.
If the vehicle is driven in manoeuvre mode
despite the
warning on the display,
transmission shi s to gear automatically.
In this case, vehicle may be accelerated.
CAUTION
Do not to exceed the maximum
engine speeds allowed during manual
operation.
Display warnings:
Transmission warnings are displayed as 2
digit abbreviations on trip computer.
Transmission in neutral
Shi to neutral.
Shi ing
