The printer will not send or receive
faxes.
Check if the region is set correctly.
1 Press the (System) button.
2 Select the Tools tab.
3 Select Admin Settings.
4 Select Fax Settings.
5 Select Fax Line Settings.
6 Select Region.
7 Select the correct region, and then select OK.
Check that the phone line is connected properly.

An error often occurs during a fax
transmission or reception.
Reduce the modem speed.
1 Press the (System) button.
2 Select the Tools tab.
3 Select Admin Settings.
4 Select Fax Settings.
5 Select Transmission Defaults.
6 Select Modem Speed.
7 Select the desired menu item, and then select OK.
