Chapter 7 Installing Internal Options
7 Install the heat sink.
Attach the heat sink to the installed CPU and fasten it with the screws.
Carefully tighten the screws in diagonal order.
8 Attach the ventilation system cover and top cover.

9 Return the server to the rack.
10 Initialize the Extended System Configuration Data (ESCD).
On the [Advanced] menu of the BIOS Setup Utility, set [Reset Configuration Data] to [Yes].

11 Store the BIOS settings.

■ How to Remove a CPU
To remove a CPU, simply reverse the installation procedures.
