Accessible drives Installing the multibay
V CAUTION!
Keep the dummy for future use. If you remove the slimline drive again
and do not replace it with a new one, the dummy must be reinstalled
to comply with EMC regulations and to satisfy cooling requirements
and fire protection measures.
Ê Insert the slimline DVD drive in the frame. The four noses will fasten the
frame (see figure 26 on page 41).

Ê Push the slimline DVD drive into the multibay until it latches in place.
Ê Connect the SATA cable and the PS adapter cable to the rear side of the
slimline DVD drive (see figure 27 on page 42 and the cabling plans in the
Appendix).
Ê Push the multibay fully into the bay until the EasyClick rails lock in place.
Take care that the cables do not clamp.
Ê Connect the power cable plug P4 to the PS adapter cable of the slimline DVD
drive (see the cabling plans in the Appendix).
Ê Route the SATA cable of the slimline DVD drive and connect it to the SATA
connector SATA5 on the system board (see Technical Manual for the system
board D2559).
