Location
The ModSync enclosure should be located in a clean, dry environment within visual
range of the boilers. Four (4) mounting supports are provided loose in the enclosure.
Secure the supports to the enclosure and mount the ModSync in an easily accessible
area of the boiler room. The enclosure meets NEMA classification 4, enclosure
dimensions may change based on hardware configurations.
Power Supply
A 120VAC/60Hz/1PH electrical supply is required by the ModSync. The hot supply
should be connected to the 10A circuit breaker for short circuit protection. The
neutral terminal block should be connected to the corresponding N terminal block
and the ground wire to the green ground terminal block provided in the ModSync
enclosure.
Hydronic Boiler Interface
Hydronic boilers provide status feedback using contact closures and analog (4-
20mA, 0-10VDC, and 0-135ohm) signals, or through Modbus communication. Please
reference the associated electrical diagram provided with the ModSync to
determine the communication runs required between the ModSync and the
Hydronic boilers.
