Cleaning Scan Head Assembly
Possible risk of infection. Do not handle soiled or contaminated
transducer and other components that have been in patient
contact. Follow appropriate cleaning and surface-level
disinfecting procedures before handling the equipment.

Steps Illustrations
1. Remove and dispose of Scan
Membrane.
2. Use dry, non-abrasive cleaning
cloth to wipe off lotion (if present)
from the Scan Head Assembly.
Use disinfecting wipes to clean away
residual lotion and other debris from the
patient contact areas. See list of
approved wipes on page 10-5.
