7-7-2-1 Formatting a DVD/CD
Prior to exporting logs or any data onto a DVD/CD, the media must be formatted, as described below.
To Format a DVD/CD:
1.) Connect the DVD/CD-RW media drive to the USB port and make sure the DVD/CD-RW power
switch on the rear of the drive is set in the External position, as shown in Figure 7-104, below.
2.) Insert the blank DVD/CD media into the DVD/CD-RW drive tray.
3.) On the Vivid q N system, press the <Config> key.
4.) Select the Connectivity Tab and activate the Tools Tab.
5.) Under Removable Media, select the media type CD/DVD Writeable from the Media drop-down
menu, as shown in Figure 7-105.
