3.3.8 SERIAL NUMBER
The serial number is a unique number programmed into your machine at Genmega.
It not only identifies your machine for warranty purposes, but also for remote
monitoring using Genmega RMS. The first 4 digits refer to the model type, and the
last 6 is production cycle. By default this number is programmed from the factory
and we do not recommend changing it. However if you need to clear NVRAM for any
purpose this number will be deleted. If you wish to re-enter the serial number, you’ll
find it on the sticker located inside of the upper cabinet.
Keeping the serial number in the proper format will prevent problems when trying to
connect for remote management.
