6.1 Replacing the Rotary Knob
Requirements
Service training part 1
WARNING!
To finish the task, the following step must be carried out in order to ensure error-free use.
n Carrying out the inspection (⇨ "Inspection", page 33).
1 Disconnect the CARDIOHELP from the external power supply.
Replacement of rotary knob
2 Remove the rotary knob cover [1] carefully.
3 Hold the rotary knob [3] securely with your hand and open the hex nut [2].
4 Remove the rotary knob and clean the surface under the knob.
6.1.1 Assemble the Rotary Knob
1 Fit the rotary knob with a gap of 1.0 mm parallel to the display foil.
2 Pull hex nut with a torque of 1.4 Nm.
3 Fit the rotary knob cover.
4 Check the function of the rotary knob.
▶ The rotary knob must not touch the controls foil.
5 Carry out a complete inspection (⇨ "Inspection", page 33).
u Rotary knob is replaced.
u Inspection after repair has been carried out.
6.2 Replacing the Venous Probe

1 Disconnect the CARDIOHELP from the external power supply.
Venous probe
2 Fold the guard up.
3 Remove the faulty probe from the holder.
4 Remove the faulty probe’s connection cable.
