The release mechanism on the side of the venous probe must be used to open and close the guard.

6.4 Reparing the Emergency Drive

CAUTION!
ESD-sensitive components
To prevent damage to ESD-sensitive components, an ESD-protected environment must be set up.
WARNING!
To finish the task, the following step must be carried out in order to ensure error-free use.
n Carrying out the inspection (⇨ "Inspection", page 33).
6.4.1 Dismantling the Emergency Drive
1 Remove the cover [1].

2 Remove the adhesive residues.
▶ For assembly, the surface must be free of adhesive residues and grease.
3 Unscrew the cylinder-head screws [2].
4 Take off the upper part [3].
5 Unscrew the cylinder-head screw with washer [4].

6 Remove the magnet holder disk [5].
NOTE
Perform the necessary steps of service work.
▶ Necessary steps could be:
- Replacement of the emergency drive PCB (⇨ "Replacing the Emergency Drive PCB", page 107).
- Lubricating the emergency drive (⇨ "Lubricating the Emergency Drive", page 74).
▶ The dismantled parts are installed in reverse order.
▶ Attach the guard plate using the M4 screw and the washer with a torque of 2.8 Nm and Loctite 270.
