9 Replace the new fans and assemble them on the fan mountings
using a force of 0.3 Nm and Loctite 270.

10 Insert the fan mountings and fix them with the screws [6] in the battery housing.
▶ Install the fan with number M301-0055-000/2 to the fan mounting [4].
▶ Install the fan with number M301-0059-000/0 to the fan mounting [5].
CAUTION!
Pay attention to install the fan on its correct position and correct airflow. The airflow must guide outside.
11 Arrange the fan cables in its provided gap.
CAUTION!
Do not kink or bend the fan cables.
12 Attach Hylomar on the junction between battery housing and battery fan cover.
CAUTION!
Ensure that the battery housing is airtight.
13 Attach the battery fan cover to the battery housing base with the screws using a force of 0.3 Nm and
Loctite 270.
14 Check the air flow according to the illustration

15 Assemble the battery housing (⇨ "Assemble Battery Housing", page 117).
▶ Make sure to replace the gasket sealing (⇨ "Replacing Gasket Sealing", page 117).
16 Close the device (⇨ "Closing the Device", page 110).
17 Carry out a complete inspection (⇨ "Inspection", page 33).
u Battery housing fan replaced.
u Inspection after repair has been carried out.
