Disposing of batteries
Ba
tteries are subject to special waste treatment regulations and
must be disposed of in accordance with locally enforced regula-
tions.
The improper handling of batteries, can due to their potentially
dangerous substances, have a negative environmental effect and
consequences for human health.
For this reason, follow the advice relating to batteries exactly:
− do not open or short circuit
− do not throw them into fire or expose them to high tempera-
tur
es
− protect from getting wet and do not place them in water
− do not store them together with electroconductive items (e.g.
c
hains, screws, metal waste etc.)
