l For XFP ports, QSFP+ ports, SFP+ ports or QSFP28 ports, insert the XFP, QSFP+, SFP+
or QSFP28 optical module into the corresponding port before connecting the MPO-type or
LC-type connector to the module.
Keep the followings in mind when connecting fiber cables:
l The curvature radius should be greater than 10cm. Avoid excessive bending of the cable.
l Ensure the Tx and Rx ends are connected correctly.
l Keep the connector of the optical cable clean.
Notes: Laser danger! To protect your eyes from radiation harm, do not stare into a
cable connector connected to a laser.
Connecting an AC Power Cable
To power the device with AC power modules, connect AC power cables to the AC power mod-
ule. The AC power cable is shipped with the chassis.
To connect the AC power cable, take the following steps:
1. Make sure the AC power cable will not be powered during the connection process.
2. Take the AC power cable out of the accessory box.
3. Insert the coupler end of the cable into the inlet of the power module, as shown below.
