IOM-16SFP-100 is designed with sixteen SFP ports. The SCM-260, SCM-D1T-260, SCM-D2T-
260, SCM-280 and SCM-300 modules are designed with two SFP ports, which are used as HA
ports. Beside, each combo port of SG-6000-X7180 includes one SFP port.

Notes: To avoid dust falling into the SFP socket, you should place a rubber dust
cap (originally in the accessory box) over the SFP port.
Hillstone SG-6000-X series supports SFP optical module and SFP copper module. If you want
the device to connect to an Ethernet copper cable, you need to use a copper SFP transceiver
(Copper SFP transceiver of type FCLF-8520-3 from Finisar is recommended).
If SFP optical module is applied to SFP port, you should use cable with LC-type optical con-
nector. Hillstone SG-6000-X series supports the following types of SFP optical modules. All mod-
ules are hot-swappable.
