1. Keep the device powered on.
2. If only one SCM module is installed, use a pin to press the CLR button in the pinhole of the
SCM module; if two SCM modules are installed, use a pin to press the CLR button in the
pinhole of one SCM module, and then use a pin to press the CLR button in the pinhole of
the other SCM module simultaneously within 5 seconds.
3. Keep pressing until the STA and PWR LEDs of the SCM module(s) turn solid red. System
will start to reset itself.
4. When restoring is complete, system will reboot automatically.
To restore the factory default settings of SG-6000-X7180, take the following steps:
1. Turn off the power of the appliance.
2. Press the CLR button in the pinhole and switch on the power supply simultaneously.
3. Keep pressing till the STA and ALM LEDs turn to constantly red, then stop pressing. The
appliance begins to restore to the original factory settings.
4. The system reboots after the default settings restored.
Cooling System
The cooling system of SG-6000-X8180 consists of four fan trays. The cooling system of other
SG-6000 X series devices consist of two fan trays.
Each fan tray of SG-6000-X10800 has five fans. The fan trays are horizontally located in the fan
slots of the front panel. The fan trays can be replaced, see Replacing a Fan Tray of SG-6000-
X10800 for more information.
