Appendix: Supported Versions of Devices
During the production process, components of part SG-6000 X series devices have been updated,
which may cause the incompatibility among software versions. The table below displays the
device of which the components have updated. Check whether your device is in the following
table. If it is, it's strongly recommended you update the device to the suggested versions in ref-
erence of the device production date and usage of the module (IOM-2Q8SFP+-200/SSM-
200/QSM-200). You can also call 1-800-889-9860 for more help about updating.
Notes:
l The devices which are not listed in the following table can update normally.
l The device in the Table which is produced before the specified period and do
not use the IOM-2Q8SFP+-200/SSM-200/QSM-200 module or use the
module which hasn't be updated can update normally.
l You can find the production date of the device/module according to the SN.
There's 16-digit SN on the Hillstone devices/modules. Among it, the 6th
and 7th number mean the production week and the 8th and 9th number mean
the production year. Taking the SN of xxxxx4018xxxxxxx for example, the
device/module is produced in the 40th week of 2018 year.
