The Switch allows you to send to up to 4 Syslog servers messages con-
cerning important device internal events.
Setting Syslog
enable
configure
logging host 10.0.1.159 514 3
logging syslog
ex
show logging hosts
Switch to the privilege EXEC mode.
Switch to the configuration mode.
Select the receiver of the log message and its
port 514. The "3“ indicates the importance of the
message the Switch is sending. "3“
means
"error“.
Enable the Syslog function.
Switch to the privilege EXEC mode.
Display the hosts Syslog settings.
show logging hosts
