5 Open the soundproof cover wrapped around the compressor and
remove the terminal box cover of the compressor body. Disconnect
the compressor wires in the terminal box and remove the thermis-
tor on top of the compressor.
• Check the wiring color and layout when disconnecting. Connecting
wires in wrong order at reassembling may result in compressor da-
mage.

6 Remove the suction and discharge pipes from the compressor.
• Be sure to separate the blazing burner ame sufciently from the
wires and electrical components around the brazed part in order
to avoid burning.

7 Remove push nuts A and B which xes the compressor.
Lift the compressor and remove from the unit body. (C in
the gure does not have a push nut).
a. Check if the Faston terminal has any abnormali-
ty when replacing the compressor. (Ensure the pull
out force greater than 20 N). If the Faston terminal is
identied faulty replace to a new one.
b. Ensure the xture of the lead wires.
