Managing SSL certificates
To improve the security of remote operations between the SVP and the storage system,

SSL certiî ´cates (also known as digital certiî ´cates) are used to establish a secure
encrypted connection between an SVP and a storage system. The SSL connection
protects the Hitachi Device Manager - Storage Navigator User ID and password that is
exchanged during each visit (or session).
