17. Press the back button to return to the model function menu.
To congure ap control:
1. From the model menu, rotate the jog dial to highlight “FLAP
CON” and press the jog dial once to enter the activation menu.
You may also select a ight condition in this menu by activating the desired ight condition.
2. Press the jog dial again to activate the menu.
3. Rotate the jog dial to select “ACT” (activate), then press the jog
dial to conrm your selection and activate the ap control
menu.
4. Highlight the “FLAP” row of the value table and press the jog
dial to activate the menu.
To disable the elevator-to-camber mix:
1. Scroll to highlight the “MIX” eld in the camber mix menu and
press the jog dial to activate the menu.
2. Select “INH” (inhibit) and press the jog dial to conrm your
selection.
3. Press the back button to return to the model function menu.
Flap Control
Flap Control is used to mix elevator control with ap movements. This is an eective way of avoiding pitch
changes to the aircraft when aps are deployed.
5. Scroll to highlight the “L/U” (left/up) eld and press the jog
dial to activate the menu.
6. Rotate the jog dial to increase (clockwise) or decrease
(counter-clockwise) the desired endpoint for the servo
attached to the assigned ap channel. This value denes the
end point when the ap is fully retracted. Set this value
carefully to avoid any binding of the control linkages. Press the
jog dial to conrm your input.
