Saving and Recalling Measurement Results
Saving and Recalling Measurement
Results
The network analyzer allows you to save the following information to
internal memory or to a DOS-formatted 3.5” floppy disk in the analyzer's
built-in disk drive:
Instrument
State Instrument state settings consist of all the stimulus
and response parameters that set up the analyzer to
make a specific measurement including markers, limit
lines, memory traces, and user-defined calibration kits.
(For a list of all the parameters that are saved, view the
seven screens displayed under the
key.) Instrument state
information is saved and recalled for both
measurement channels.
Cal The measurement calibration information is the
measurement correction data that the analyzer creates
when you make a calibration. Measurement calibration
information is saved and recalled for both
measurement channels.
Data The measurement data consists of the actual
measurement data trace.You can save any combination
of the above three and recall them to be displayed on
the network analyzer. You can also dump the
measurement channel data to an ASCII format file that
you can use for graphing and manipulation in
spreadsheets and CAE programs.
NOTE The key is toggled OFF by default.When this key is
toggled ON, calibration information is automatically saved, along with
the instrument state settings.
