Antenna
The antenna route from the WLAN card to transceivers at the top of the computer (transceivers shown in
following image).
To remove the antenna:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 27).
2. Remove the access panel (see
Access panel on page 33).
3. Remove the heat sink (see
Heat sink on page 51).
4. Remove the top rear trim (see
Top rear trim on page 54).
5. Remove the Torx screws that secures each antenna transceiver to the frame, and then lift the
transceivers off the frame.
