3. Connect the peripheral devices to the server.

4. For a hot-plug power supply:For a hot-plug power supply: To prevent accidental power cord disconnection when sliding the server in and out of the rack, secure
the power cord in the strain relief strap attached to the power supply handle:
a. Connect the power cord to the power supply.
b. Unwrap the strain relief strap from the power supply handle.
CAUTION: CAUTION: Avoid tight bend radii to prevent damaging the internal wires of a power cord or a server cable. Never
bend power cords and server cables tight enough to cause a crease in the sheathing.
c. Secure the power cord with the strain relief strap.
5. For a non-hot-plug power supply:For a non-hot-plug power supply: To prevent the accidental disconnection of the power cord when sliding the server into and from
the rack, secure the power cord through the strain relief clip:
