Enabling IP conflict notification
About IP conflict notification
Upon detecting an IP conflict, the device will sends a gratuitous ARP request. By default, the device
displays an error message only after it receives an ARP reply. You can enable this feature to allow
the device to display an error message immediately upon detecting an IP conflict.
Procedure
1. Enter system view.

Restrictions and guidelines
• You can enable periodic sending of gratuitous ARP packets on a maximum of 1024 interfaces.
• Periodic sending of gratuitous ARP packets takes effect on an interface only when the following
conditions are met:

{ The interface has an IP address.
