Location settings
Turning on location services
In order to find your location on Droid DNA by HTC, you need to enable
location sources.
1. Slide the Notifications panel open, and then tap > Location.
2. Select the location services you want to use:
VZW Location
Services
Uses location services provided by Verizon
Wireless to find your approximate location.
Standalone GPS
Services
Finds your exact GPS location. This requires a
clear view of the sky and more battery power.
Google Location
Services
Uses Google location services to track your
location. When selected, you'll also allow
Google to collect anonymous location data
from your wireless device.
