4.4.5 Replacing a Gas Release Indicator
Prerequisites
A spare gas release indicator of the same model is available and functional.
Impact on the System
The re extinguishing system stops working during the replacement.

Tools: Phillips screwdriver, protective gloves, step ladder, at-head screwdriver
Material: spare gas release indicator
Document: re extinguishing device layout diagram (standard)
Skill requirement: re engineer

Before replacing the gas release indicator, inform the related administration
department of the temporary downtime of the re extinguishing system. After the
replacement, inform the administration department that the system has become
operational.
Procedure
Step 1 Switch o the active and standby power supplies to the re alarm control panel.
Step 2 Remove the screws shown in Figure 4-70 using a Phillips screwdriver, and remove
the panel.
