Step 3 Remove the cables from the re alarm bell.
NO TE
As a terminal resistor is connected to the last re alarm bell in the loop in parallel, remove
the terminal resistor from the faulty re alarm bell, and connect the resistor to the new re
alarm bell when you replace the re alarm bell.
Step 4 Remove screws from the re alarm bell base using a Phillips screwdriver, and
remove the base.
Step 5 Install the new base in the same way, connect the cables, and install the cover.
Step 6 Switch on the input circuit breaker of the extinguishant control panel, and connect
the battery cables.
Step 7 Check whether the new
re alarm bell is working properly.
1. Flip the key to Enable Control rightward, and set the access level of the
extinguishant control panel to 2.
2. Press Silence/Sound Alarm to start or abort the re alarm bell.
NO TE
If the alarm bell starts and aborts normally, and rings loud and clear when it is started, the
alarm bell is working properly.
3. Reset the key to Enable Control by ipping it leftward.

Prerequisites
A spare extinguishant abort button of the same model is available and functional.
Impact on the System
The
re extinguishing system stops working during the replacement.
