Commission the re
extinguishing system by
following the
instructions in the Fire
Extinguishing System
Commissioning
(Standard) section in
the commissioning guide
for the solution in use.
Devices work properly, and the
management system displays
related alarms.
If a re
extinguishing
system component
is abnormal, replace
it by referring to
"Replacing Fire
Extinguishing
System Parts."
Gas release
indicator
Disconnect the red and
black cables from the
pressure announciator,
and short-circuit the
cables from the re
alarm control panel to
the pressure
announciator.
The gas release indicator is
steady on.
Replace the gas
release indicator.
Heat detector Heat the heat detector
using a heating device.
If the temperature is below the
alarm threshold (54–70°C), the
gas release indicator blinks
once every 6s.
If the fault persists,
replace the heat
detector.
If the temperature exceeds the
alarm threshold, the gas
release indicator is steady on.
The re alarm control panel
generates an alarm and
triggers the
re alarm sounder.
If the fault persists,
replace the heat
detector.
Smoke
detector
Release smoke onto the
smoke detector using a
smoke pistol.
If the smoke density is below
the alarm threshold, the alarm
indicator blinks once every 6s.
Replace the smoke
detector.
If the smoke density exceeds
the alarm threshold, the
indicator turns on. The re
alarm control panel generates
an alarm and triggers the re
alarm sounder.
If the fault persists,
replace the smoke
detector.
Fire alarm
sounder
When the heat detector
or smoke detector
generates an alarm, the
re alarm bell generates
a harsh sound.
The alarm is loud and clear. 1. Check and
reconnect cables
to the re alarm
sounder.
2. If the fault
persists, replace
the
re alarm
sounder.
