Smart cooling products are replaced in similar ways. This section uses replacing
smart cooling product C1 as an example to describe the replacing method.
When replacing a smart cooling product, put aside the removed components,
bolts, and other materials, as they are needed in later replacement operations.
Preparations
Tools:
at-head screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, adjustable wrench, socket wrench,
protective gloves, ESD oor suction plate, step ladder
Materials: spare in-row air cooled smart cooling product
Documents: drawings and parameters for power supply and distribution as well as
cooling
Skill requirement: cooling engineer
Procedure
Step 1 Locate the cold aisle containment where maintenance is to be performed based
on the position of the faulty smart cooling product.
Step 2 Switch
o the integrated UPS circuit breaker that supplies power to the smart
cooling product indoor unit, and verify that the smart cooling product indoor unit
is powered
o using a multimeter before proceeding with the following
operations.
Step 3 Remove the suspended ceilings before the smart cooling product in the cold and
hot aisles.
Assign two persons to remove a suspended ceiling together. One person holds up
the suspended ceiling, while the other person removes the fasteners.
