5.2.3 Vacuumizing
Prerequisites

Before vacuumizing the cooling system, ensure that the refrigerant pipes have passed the
air tightness test and do not leak.

Before vacuumizing the cooling system, ensure that all connectors are secured.

System high pressure may occur if the cooling system is not vacuumized or is not
thoroughly vacummized. Ensure that the cooling system is thoroughly vacummized before
refrigerant is charged.
Procedure
Step 1 Check whether the low-temperature component is connected.

If the low-temperature component is not connected, vacuumize the cooling system from
the two positions (liquid pipe needle valve and low-pressure needle valve) at the same
time, as shown in Figure 5-2.
