Caution:
TFTP Server program is not supplied together with R2600/3600 series and should be prepared by the
user.
Step 3: Run the terminal emulation program on the PC connected to the console, and
boot the router. When the screen displays “Quidway start booting”, press
<N>
immediately, and the following will be displayed:
(M)odify any of this or (C)ontinue? [M]
Press
<Enter>
, and the following prompt will be given:
For each of the following questions, you can press <Return> to select the value
shown in braces, or you can enter a new value.
The above prompt indicates that the following options have default values (those
contained in [ ] are default values). If there is no need to modify the value, press
<Enter>
; or, enter a new value.
NETWORK INTERFACE PARAMETERS:
Do you want a LAN1 interface? [Y]
This board's LAN1 IP address (0.0.0.0 = RARP)? [10.110.10.10]
Subnet mask for LAN1 (0 for none)? [255.255.0.0]
HARDWARE PARAMETERS:
Baud rate for serial channels [9600]
NETUTILS APPLICATION PARAMETERS:
IP address of the TFTP Boot server to boot from? [10.110.200.1]
What is the name of the file to be loaded and started? [ram.abs]
How long (in seconds) should CPU delay before starting up? [2]
“IP address of the TFTP Boot server to boot from? [10.110.200.1]” must be the IP
address of the PC connected with the Ethernet. Here, it is 10.110. 10.13.
After entering the last value, the following prompt will be given, requesting you to
confirm the input values:

IP address on LAN1 is 10.110.10.10
LAN1 interface's subnet mask is 0xffff0000
HARDWARE PARAMETERS:
Serial channels will use a baud rate of 9600
NETUTILS APPLICATION PARAMETERS:
IP address of the TFTP host is 10.110.10.13
The file to download and start is ram.abs
After board is reset, start-up code will wait 2 seconds

Step 4: Enter
<C>
to confirm the above selection, and BOOTROM will be normally
started. Then, access the BOOT menu with the method described in 6.1.1.
Step 5: Enter

in the BOOT menu, and download the application program via TFTP,
and the following prompt will be displayed:
Please start TFTP server then press ENTER key to get start
If the PC running the TFTP Server is ready, press
<Enter>
to start the loading.
Starting the TFTP download...
