Each channel in 16AS has only one indicator. It is on when the link is connected, and it
blinks when the link is active (i.e., receiving and transmitting data).
8.7.5 Interface Cable
I. Connecting 8AS cable
The connection cable of 8AS is an 8-port asynchronous serial interface cable. One end
of it is a 68-pin connector, and the other end is an 8-port DB-25/DB-9 connector. The
appearance of the cable is shown in the following figure.
Caution:
This cable is selected for the 8AS module.
