14.4.4.3 Adding ONUs to the OLT and Configuring the Management Service Port
Related configurations can be performed for ONUs only after the ONUs are successfully added
to the OLT. After the inband management service port is created and available, you can log in
to the ONUs from the OLT to configure the ONUs.
Context
l When an ONU is added, related profiles need to be bound to the ONU, including the
dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) profile, line profile, and alarm profile.
l An ONU can be added in two modes: adding an ONU offline and confirming an ONU
online. Select either mode as required.
