Step 3 Configure multicast VLAN 100.
NOTE
This configuration takes effect only after the CMs go online again.

Step 4 Configure the Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) version to IGMPv3.
huawei(config-mvlan100)#igmp version v3
Step 5 Configure a multicast program generation mode.
Multicast programs can be dynamically or statically generated. For the D-CMTS, the multicast
programs are dynamically generated.
huawei(config-mvlan100)#igmp mode off
Are you sure to close IGMP? (y/n)[n]:y
huawei(config-mvlan100)#igmp match mode disable
Step 6 Configure the multicast uplink port to 0/5/0.
huawei(config-mvlan100)#igmp uplink-port 0/5/0
Step 7 Configure the IGMP mode to IGMP proxy.
huawei(config-mvlan100)#igmp mode proxy
Are you sure to change IGMP mode?(y/n)[n]:y
huawei(config-mvlan100)#quit
Step 8 Bind CM multicast users to the multicast VLAN.
NOTE
This configuration takes effect only after the CMs go online again.
huawei(config)#cable multicast-vlan 100
Step 9 (Optional) Disable multicast DSID-based forwarding (MDF).
Multicast DSID-based forwarding is defined in data over cable service interface specification
(DOCSIS) 3.0, perform this step if the CMs comply with DOCSIS 2.0.
Disable MDF if the CMTS is connected to a CM equipped with a TI chip. Otherse, the CM may
go online and offline repeatedly.
huawei(config)#cable multicast mdf disable
Step 10 (Optional) Configure multicast user authentication.
NOTE
Perform this step if the configuration file on the CM server contains only the multicast rights profile name and
the multicast rights must be configured on the D-CMTS.
The following configurations are used as an example to configure multicast user authentication:
l Multicast authentication function: enabled globally
l Maximum number of programs can be ordered if the CM does not match any rights rule: 32
l IP addresses of the multicast programs that can be ordered by multicast users: 225.1.1.1 and
225.1.1.2
l IP address of the multicast server: 192.168.20.11
